In breaking news today, a scientific study was released offering new evidence that the wearing of the birth control patch has an unexpected benefit of limiting back hair growth. Rachel Russell, a six year old expert on the subject quotes "My mom wears a patch, even in the shower. It keeps hair from growing on her back." She further added that she even told her teacher!! hahahahaha
We had a great weekend. I kept Rachel and Landry on Saturday while Wes went to Mason. We ate at Lin's Buffet which was pretty good. We went to the mall, I got two new shirts...and we ran into the Hairy-Back-Woman (a little awkward) but I guess it went ok. Landry played his BEST basketball game ever. Wes cooked for us and he did the most thoughtful thing. I can't disclose what it was because then I will blow his cover and expose him to the world as the Big Softie that he really is. I LOVE HIM! Rachel absolutely adores Landry and she smooched on him and hugged him all weekend. He took it pretty much in stride....until she gave him a kiss and then said "oh I'm sorry Landry, I got snot on your face"....ha ha ha ha ha
I love our kids!!
Sunday we went to the park and threw the baseball around and the kids rode their bikes. Wes helped me to avert a full fledged mental breakdown brought on by dirty floors, the size of my butt, PMS, and a couple missed doses of Zoloft. He showed up and saved the day by taking the kids out of the house for awhile and going to wash my car:)
Oh! And I did my Pilates tapes. It has three workouts and so I actually did all of them to see which one I would like the best. Don't be too impressed two were pretty short, but I am a little sore today which means it did something I guess.
So now its back to work but at least we are done with basketball and will have a break ( a week if we are lucky) before baseball starts.
